Sing a Song
Five little kites flying high in the sky
Said, “Hi” to the cloud as it passed by,
Said, “Hi” to the bird, said “Hi” to the sun,
Said, “Hi” to an airplane–oh what fun!
Then whish went the wind,
And they all took a dive:
One, two, three, four, five.

K is for Kite
Help your child draw and decorate a kite. Or make a small kite by gluing two popsicle sticks to form an X and gluing paper cut in a diamond shape.
- Make a Kite out of a Plastic Bag – Kids will need some adult help with this activity, but a real kite can be made for flying with everyday household items.
